Grow Your Own Food Day!
    12 – 2pm opposite the iSite in the Square

Demonstrations and info on:
           Winter gardening, composting, worm farms, seed swap

For Free:
      Pumpkin treats to taste
      Seed Swap – bring your own vege or fruit seeds to exchange
      Competitions with spot prizes

For sale:
Cheap winter vege plants and herbs
Cheap swan plants
Raffle tickets for Earthmaker Composter, hanging herb basket and bag of organic veges

Displays and info:
       Supergrans garden mentoring
       Awapuni School garden initiative
       Community Gardens

Films and discussion at the City Library 
    Sound and Vision 5.45pm – 7.15pm
                 Refreshments and 3 short films
                 followed by a discussion on urban/community gardens in PN    

“Smalltalk diaries: the decomposers”

“Urban food growing in Havana, Cuba”

Smalltalk diaries (14 mins) will also be shown for kids in the Children’s area at 3pm
