Branch Road - a special walk
Developing Branch Road track in beautiful Pohangina Valley was one of the early projects of MWPS. The annual downhill "County Fayre" walk, organised by the Friends of Branch, is a tradition in the valley.
"Walks in Manawatu" booklet available
“Walks in Manawatu”, a booklet published by MWPS, gives information on walking tracks in Manawatu, Rangitikei, and Horowhenua and gives accounts of conditions and amenities as they were at the time of going to press.
The booklet is available from i-Site and Bruce McKenzie bookshop in Palmerston North and from the Information Centre in Feilding.
