Manawatu Tree Trust is a community organisation established in 1984 with the help of the Palmerston North Rotary Club.

Objectives

  • View of urban trees looking south-east from SquarePromote and encourage the enjoyment and protection of trees in our landscape
  • Plant and encourage the maintenance of trees in public places
  • Arrange visits to notable gardens and scenic areas in which trees feature

Membership and how to get involved?

Planting natives at Waitoetoe ParkAs a member you will:

  • be active in tree planting
  • learn more about trees through talks and visits
  • get involved in the community
    Annual fee is $20
