Keeble's Bush Link Corridor

Description

  • 5 acres of land is being planted adjacent to one of the Manawatu Plains best native forest remnants just south of Massey University
  • It links up with another forested riparian strip further downstream that Michael Greenwood planted in 1979 - 1980 and aims to extend the native habitat and provide a buffer area for the main remnant.

Michael Greenwood the main champion for the Keeble's Bush Corridor, planting totara amongst nursery crop trees along the Maungatangaroa Stream on Saturday 16 August 2003.

Future plans
To tie this in with other green corridors on the eastern side of the river.
