The Innovative Recyclers' Awards

Purpose:
These annual awards, established in 1997, give Council recognition to residents who exibit innovation in reduction, re-use, restoration, repair, recycling or composting.

Categories:
1.Household, 2.Business, 3.Institution

Project Leaders and Evaluation Panel:
Alan Fielding, 1 Councillor, 1 Community Person

Timing:
Open for entry throughout the year. Entries close at the end of August each year for evaluation. Presentations are made in September or October.

Publicity:
Media Coverage throughout the winter

Information:
Entry leaflet available from the Customer Services Centre of the Palmerston North City Council and some businesses.
